Sprint offers a wide variety of different cell phone plans, each with different features, advantages and disadvantages. Sprint’s intention is to create such a wide array of cell phone service plans, that there is a plan to address the needs of each and every customer, no matter who they are.

Sprint’s Basic Plan is a simple plan, providing users with only 200 “anytime minutes”, but unlimited minutes during nights and weekends. With Sprint’s Basic Plan you will also receive the normal standard features, including free long distance nationwide, voice mail service, and call waiting. The Sprint Basic Plan is $29.99 per month, and is the least expensive of all Sprint Plans. If you do not need many minutes for daytime or peak calling, this may be the right cell phone service plan for you.

Sprint’s Power Pack Plan is another simple plan, providing users with 450 minutes to service as an entry-priced individual plan. With this plan, and all of the rest of Sprint’s calling plans, the unlimited evening calling begins at 7:00pm even though it normally begins at 9:00pm for other cell phone plan carriers. This can even be pushed to 6:00pm for an extra $5.00 per month. For an additional $5 per month you can also purchase 50 additional minutes if the 450 this plan offers are not enough.

Sprint’s Free Incoming Plan is the least expensive of the free incoming call plans, providing users with 300 any time minutes that are applied to outgoing calls only. Incoming calls are free on this plan. Sprint is the only cell phone carrier that offers this type of plan, which makes Sprint fairly cutting edge. All of the basic features are available on this plan, including three way calling and voice mail. This plan also includes free unlimited phone calls during nights and on weekends. If you do not make many outgoing calls, but do receive a large number of incoming calls, this may be the right cell phone plan for you. Sprint also has a Free Incoming 500 Plan that offers 500 minutes of outgoing phone calls instead of the standard 300 minutes offered in the regular plan.

Sprint offers a lot of different basic plans, which are inexpensive but offer the features that most users want. Sprint is extremely flexible when it comes to offering free night calling, and their free incoming call plans are cutting edge.
